Last week during Art Basel Miami, we sponsored ‘Not Another Art Show’ — an immersive experience designed to bridge the gap between art, fashion, culture, music, tech & philanthropy — and launched our newest campaign: Art That Moves You.
As part of Art That Moves You (a play on physical movement and emotional connection), we teamed up with two marquee artists, Matt Corrado and ThankYouX, as well as local artists, Sammy Zolot, SONA, and Jared Ryan Shaw to hand-paint some of our scooters and turn them into two-wheeled works of art.

In addition to painting scooters, Matt Corrado and ThankYouX, each working in their own distinctive style, collaborated on a mural in the gallery space. And Sammy Zolot and SONA contributed a few of their individual pieces for the show.

Opening night, marked by the energy and excitement of Miami’s decadent art scene, took place on Tuesday, December 3rd. Located in the new urban community of Little Haiti, the venue featured a live painting performance of our vehicles and an upside-down photo installation with an art-filled city scene, and of course, a scooter. Matt Corrado even stepped in at the last minute and surprised us by adorning some helmets with his signature stylings.

Beyond all the excitement of the gallery itself, the wider community will also get a chance to appreciate the work of our collaborating artists. Now that the show is complete, these limited-edition, custom-designed vehicles are going to be integrated into our Miami fleet for all to enjoy!

Part of the inspiration for this campaign was to bring color and movement to our streets. By providing a unique canvas to showcase local work, we are creating widespread access to the arts. And by adding vibrant, eye-catching flair to the usual scooter landscape, we’re thrilled to get our riders talking and to add even more joy and freedom to their everyday journeys.
In conjunction with Art That Moves You, we are also launching a special promotion, where anyone who rides a Spin, in Miami, from December 1st — 31st, will be entered into a weekly giveaway to win a foldable helmet, a Spin t-shirt, and $50 ride credits. Four lucky winners will be selected. For more information visit spin.app/artsweepstakes.
As a micro-mobility company that operates in more than 60 diverse markets across the country, some of our main goals are to build community, connect with each city’s unique identity, and to engage our riders authentically. We know that Miami, in particular, thrives on art and culture, and we wanted to create a fleet that is representative of the region. Every urban environment — comprised of people, architecture, traditions, and more — has a personality unto itself. And for the duration of this campaign, Spin will be a living embodiment of that personality, and our scooters will be embedded into the cultural fabric of the local community, just the way we like it.
