Going forward, Spin will continue partnering with SFMTA to improve operational performance and create a more effective public-private partnership. This includes seeking formal approval from SFMTA to expand its current fleet of 2,000 e-scooters by a to-be-determined number in order to provide reliable access to sustainable mobility options for residents and visitors.
Since 2019, Spin has successfully operated in San Francisco with a clear track record of equitably distributing e-scooters across the City, offering accessible device options for those with limited mobility, and creating local jobs with union representation.
